Tea Bag For Toothache Relief
You can also place a tea bag next to the tooth for fast relief. It worked by being astringent. Drawing out the infection, which causes the pain. It also aids in the destruction of bacteria in the oral cavity which works to prevent periodontal disease. Eliminate sugar from your diet, including pasta and excess wheat. This lowers the sugar in your blood, which feeds the infection.
Homemade Toothpaste with Coconut Oil
This toothpaste recipe beside baking soda also contains coconut oil. It is my secret antidote against tooth infections and is also effective against a toothache.
For the coconut oil toothpaste you will need:
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil – it should be warm
- 6 tablespoons baking soda
- 10 drops mint oil
- ½ teaspoons fine sea salt
- Mix all the above ingredient in a bowl, until you obtain a creamy paste. Then place it in an appropriate recipient.
Enjoy your new homemade toothpaste!
Cloves have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and anesthetic properties that help alleviate tooth pain and fight infection. Clove Oil Toothache Compress is one of the most effective ways to help alleviate toothache pain…
You will need…
–Clove essential oil
–1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
–Cotton swabs (optional)
Rinse your mouth with warm salt water to get it nicely flushed out. By doing this beforehand, you’re allowing the oil to do its job the very best it can since there’s nothing to block it or make it hard to sink down into the sore spot.
Mix a few drops of clove essential oil with ½ teaspoon of olive oil. Thoroughly soak a cotton ball in this mixture and then hold it gently but firmly against the sore tooth or gum for a few minutes.
This is just a solution to get quick relief from the pain, not something that will cure your toothache permanently. Brushing and flossing regularly and eating less processed sugary/salty foods will help prevent toothaches.
A toothache is one of the worst pains you can get so it’s important to be able to get some temporary relief quickly. But when the pain subsides, we should not forget about it – a visit to the dentist is a must.
